Memorial Bricks

School Grants and Scholarships

The Kent City Casnovia Community Foundation is undertaking a Veteran’s Memorial Park located at Kent City High School.  Part of that memorial park will include a plaza consisting of bricks that  will honor the names of veterans that have served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard, during wartime or peacetime.    The honored veteran is not required to be a citizen of Kent City.  All veterans are welcome.  

Grant Application Guidelines
 

Proposals will are accepted throughout the year.  However, the foundation board meets every two months.  Applications will be accepted by October 1st (for consideration in the fall) and April 1st (for consideration in the spring).​ Download Grant Application

It is the belief of the Kent City/Casnovia Community Foundation that education is the key to individual success and an integral part of our community’s development.  For this reason, the VRCF established the Kent City/Casnovia Community Foundation Scholarship Program.  This opportunity to provide financial support to our graduating high school students and to contribute to the overall strength and development of our community provides the Kent City/Casnovia Community Foundation with a method to reconfirm its commitment to education and the Kent City area. 

Kent City HS Athletic Grant

The Kent City/Casnovia Community Foundation was established in 2008 as a way to support community projects and activities.   It is our goal to offer opportunities throughout the local area that will enhance the lives of our community members.
